Block of the Month Lotto
Hello,
My name is Susi Looney. For me, making corners and seams meet is stressful at
times. I’m capable but not always willing to attempt the almost impossible.
So, over the next 12 months, mixed in with the “make the corners meet”
blocks, I will ask you to make simple blocks with the final quilt product in
mind. And if you have suggestions, I’m listening.
Susi
There are only 5 simple steps:
1) Block instructions and color choices for each monthly meeting will be in the previous month's newsletter. That is, the block name and guidelines below will be in the previous month's newsletter, and are to be turned in at the following month's meeting. The blocks below show the month in which to turn them in.
2) Make them in sets of 2 (they don't have to match) and turn in your blocks to the BOM Committee Chairman before each meeting.
3) You will receive one ticket for each block you turn in. 1 block from each pair will be set aside for the Charity Bee to make a quilt for DePelchin Children's Center, and the other will be set aside for the drawing.
4) The drawing will be held at the end of the meeting for all the blocks turned in.
5) Be sure to do your best work - we all want great blocks for our quilts!
